ODE Description

The thesaurus is accessible and easy to use, with synonyms given in order of usefulness and key synonyms highlighted.

The book also includes lists of foreign words and phrases, as well as imitative words, in its completely revised center section, offering useful vocabulary on a wide range of topics. Special features such as Choose the Right Word boxes help distinguish between close synonyms, while Word Links panels allow users to find links between words.

In addition to these features, the WordFinder section of word lists has been fully revised and reorganized, with its own quick-reference index.
